The San Telmo neighborhood showed his status as a historic and art biennial organized to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the May Revolution.

That art is revolutionary because no one can argue. And so the San Telmo district chose to protest and join the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the Revolution of May 25, 1810. Residents, merchants, antique artists, jewelers and art shops organized the Bicentennial Biennial.
Under the slogan "Our cause, culture: our flag, the blue and white, and our identity, art," more than 100 national and international artists responded to the call. Local and neighbors put their e glass windows available to the art and left room for the festive invaded the neighborhood. So part of the historic old city of Buenos Aires reflected the creative power of the Buenos Aires culture. The track was wide and included the streets Defense, Balcarce, USA, Humberto 1 and San Juan and Independence Avenues.
All made their contribution to the party was complete. The antique furniture placed, objects, pieces of jewelry and paintings of that time in preferential places for them to be admired. The sculptors did their sizes and shaped the live performances, as they entered into communication with interested visitors. There were also times for concerts as giving the Band of the Metropolitan Police. And lovers of engines enjoyed a parade of old cars of different entities such as the Classic Motorcycle Club, Mini Club of Argentina, the Argentine club Scooters and Microcoupés.
The Republic of San Telmo, headed by Manuel E. Fernandez, Guevara Gallery, the artist Jorge Falco and Merchants Cooperative Association, Employers, Neighbors and Professionals of San Telmo and Monserrat were those who were in charge and coordinated efforts of all those who wanted to participate. Community action made it clear that it is possible to promote culture in different parts of the city, and so this proposal was declared of Cultural Interest by the Ministry of Culture of the nation.
One and the other
It was a massive call, both emerging and established artists. The windows of San Telmo wore pictures of Daniel Horacio Aguirre, Maria Alvarez. Maria Gil Araujo, Ruben Alberto Arregui, Ofelia Barbosa, Valeria Cardenas Basin. Bethlehem Mary Carey, Carina Chavin, Celina Chirino, Paul Conti, Cristina Come, Juan Pablo Czudik, Sergio Di Cianni, Jose Ernesto Espinosa, Jorge Falco, Elba Fascetto, Natalia Galluzzi, Liliana Gimigliano, Paola Griffero, Ersilia Marciello, Angely Martinez, Natalia Miller, Susan Munay, Mirta Narosky, Ana Maria Oliva Gonzalez, Gabriel A. Pereira, Edna Naomi Perez, Elvira Piastrellini Adriana, Julia Gonzalez Pini, Patricia Pineiro, Duo Provoleta, Maria Agustina Sagartoy, Patricia Pineiro, Edgar Ivan Ray Gaviola, Jerome Rodriguez, Liliana Margarita Sosa, Maria Agustina Sagardy, Camila Torres, Monica Tronconi, María Jesus Vallejo, Ricardo and Luis Curci Zenco Vanoli.
